The Perfect Weekend In London
London is a city I hold very close to my heart. Over the years, I’ve spent so much time here—meeting clients, exploring hidden corners, and sharing unforgettable moments with family and friends. It’s a city full of energy and possibilities, but with so much to see and do, it can sometimes feel overwhelming.
That’s why I’ve curated this guide to help you experience the perfect weekend in London. From where to eat and what to see, to the best shops and spots away from the crowds—these are my favourite places to enjoy the city like a local.
THE ITINERARY
Friday Afternoon
We took the 13:15 flight from Oslo and, with London being an hour behind, landed at 14:35. Had I stayed at a hotel, I would have opted for a classic afternoon tea at Brown’s, Claridge’s, or Fortnum & Mason,
After a few hours relaxing at home, it was time to get ready for date night.

Getting ready for date night
For the evening, I wore a lace dress from Dolce & Gabbana with velvet heels by Manolo Blahnik, layered with a white Totême cape and my trusted Dior Saddle bag—a look that felt both elegant and effortless.
Dinner was at the private club Annabel’s, one of London’s most iconic addresses. The interiors never fail to amaze, from the restaurants to the famously beautiful powder rooms.
We dined at Matteo’s, our favourite spot inside the club. As a starter, we shared warm focaccia with olive oil, a caprese salad, and Italian meatballs, followed by tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, perfectly in season right now. For dessert, their famous soft serve—pistachio with caramelised nuts, olive oil, and sea salt—truly the best ice cream I’ve ever tasted.
a very special ring that will be launching soon…
DAY TWO
Saturday Morning
We started the day with a walk through Hyde Park, the city just waking up around us. Afterwards, breakfast at one of our favourite spots in Sloane Square—simple, cosy, and always a treat. I can never get enough of the architecture in London; the details and atmosphere remind me of something out of Harry Potter.
For breakfast At Sloane, I wore a very special piece from a special Libelula collection, Wrapped in Gold—a 14K gold ring set with a 7ct natural white topaz. Bold yet understated, it caught the morning light beautifully and felt like the perfect finishing touch to my look.
We also wandered down Pavilion Road, one of my favourite little streets in Chelsea, perfect for window shopping at all the small delicatessen shops. From bakeries to cheesemongers, the atmosphere is always charming—it feels like a slice of village life right in the middle of London. They also have one of my favourite book shops where I got some stationery.
I stopped by WH Smith to get the Financial Times before breakfast—my little ritual whenever I’m in London.
Saturday Afternoon
Later that day, we headed to Knightsbridge for a little shopping. I picked up some new makeup from Space NK and I could not resist a pair of brown Adidas Samba sneakers. I love how chic they look styled with tights—such a refreshing alternative to classic trainers.
Then I popped by Smythson to buy myself a new calendar. There’s something so timeless about Smythson—their leather goods have been a London institution since 1887, known for their understated luxury and impeccable craftsmanship. A Smythson diary feels like more than just regular stationery.
After shopping, I dropped my bags at home and headed to Daylesford on Sloane Avenue. Everything there is organic and beautifully curated—I stocked up on their homemade jams and granola, favourites I always bring back with me.
Saturday Evening
In the evening, we had a family dinner at Nico’s in Mayfair, always a warm and welcoming spot. I wore a black jumpsuit from Safiyaa, paired with a cocktail ring from Libelula that added just the right amount of sparkle to the night.
For dinner, we started with prosciutto and figs before moving on to seabass with a simple tomato salad — fresh, seasonal, and perfectly prepared.
DAY THREE
Sunday Morning & Afternoon
Sunday began with breakfast at Colbert with a coffee, newspapers, and perfectly cooked egg soldiers. Afterwards, we took a long walk through Hyde Park in the most beautiful sunshine, the city feeling unusually calm and serene.
Later in the day, it was time for a proper Sunday roast at Annabel’s and this is always such a treat. A few other favourites for Sunday roast in London are 34 Mayfair, The 22, The Connaught Grill, and of course, the many cosy pubs scattered across the city.
