Soft Power
In the fashion world, soft power has become the phrase of the moment. It’s not about tracksuits or loungewear, but about clothes that combine structure and ease — tailoring softly and elegantly. Think a Brunello Cucinelli suit with softly rounded shoulders, a fine turtleneck worn with tailored trousers that have a hint of stretch, or fabrics that drape instead of hold.
It’s power dressing, redefined — confident but understated, elegant yet effortless. And of course, no look is complete without jewellery. The right pieces bring balance and light to these softer silhouettes — adding quiet strength, subtle shine, and that touch of personality that turns simplicity into true sophistication.
LOOK 1
The first outfit is a full look from Falconeri, a brand celebrated for its timeless simplicity. The wool and cashmere velvet jacket paired with wide wool palazzo trousers in warm brown tones perfectly embodies soft power — elegant yet relaxed. A less structured shirt adds ease and balance to the tailored silhouette.
I styled it with brown Miu Miu loafers — classic yet modern, their glossy finish grounding the look with effortless polish. The jewellery completes the outfit: the Tennis Bracelet adds timeless sparkle, while the new Wrapped in Gold Ring introduces warmth and texture. Finishing it all is the Bottega Veneta Andiamo bag in rich chocolate brown — refined, functional, and quietly commanding.
LOOK 2
Outfit number two is a full Loro Piana look and when it comes to soft power, no one does it better. The Coste Turtleneck, in a soft taupe-brown cashmere blend, pairs perfectly with the Rodger Trousers in fox brown. It is sleek yet relaxed, with a gentle, wide leg that drapes effortlessly. The result is structured but never stiff, the definition of understated elegance
For jewellery, I chose the striking Soul Necklace from Libelula — a true statement piece — paired with the delicate Soul Ring and the gold Hanna Bangle for a touch of gold. Completing the look, The Row Marlo 14 bag in brown leather and a pair of suede loafers from YSL. Its timeless, refined, and beautifully understated.
LOOK 3
The final look is from Brunello Cucinelli, a brand that designs refined simplicity. A matching set is, in my opinion, the recipe for always looking put together. The Prince of Wales wool blazer, belted at the waist, brings just the right sense of power and structure, while the soft wool fabric adds warmth and ease with the Alaia turtleneck. Paired with the matching trousers, this look is the definition of soft power — a testament to timeless sophistication, seamlessly blending classic elegance with a modern silhouette.
For jewellery, I have chosen two pieces that perfectly complement this mood. The Floating Diamond Necklace from Libelula adds an understated brilliance, delicate yet strong; it catches the light in the most effortless way. Paired with the Love Ring, a symbolic ring, the combination works so well with the Brunello look elegant, modern, and quietly confident.
